Dr Oleks Gorbenko, MD, PhD, BCMAS, FRSPH
Dr Oleks Gorbenko is a global patient affairs leader, pharmaceutical physician and recognised expert in patient science, public health and patient engagement. With over 25 years of international experience, he helps life sciences organisations integrate the patient perspective into research, innovation and strategic decision-making.
His expertise spans patient affairs strategy, medical affairs, patient engagement and capability building. Oleks has authored more than 50 publications, co-developed over 20 training programmes, and is the creator of the Patient Experience Journey Mapping (PEJM) methodology. He also serves as Patient Centricity Competency Lead within the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS).
